IMPORTANT UPDATE: Mentor Match Is Transitioning to Workday

Mentor Match will move to Workday on January 1, 2026. The current platform closed on November 23, 2025.

NOTE: Applications are currently paused until the new mentorship tool launches January 1, 2026. 

Don't worry - mentorship at Houston Methodist is here to stay! While the tools are changing, our mission remains the same: to support professional growth, confidence, and connection through mentorship.

Key Updates and Actions
The current Mentor Match platform will be retired, and mentoring will be managed through Workday going forward. No existing data will be ported over to Workday.

Our final mentee orientation is October 2, 2025.
No new mentees can join after this date until the Workday platform launches in January 2026.

Access to the current platform ends on November 23, 2025.
After this date, users will no longer be able to log in, make matches, schedule meetings, or download records.

Action Required: Users must export their mentoring records and profiles before November 23.
No data will carry over to Workday. Export instructions are available via Career Central.

Mentoring can continue during the transition.
Users can use Outlook or other tools to meet and track progress. Onboarding materials for Workday will be shared in December and January.

In 2021, we asked employees across Houston Methodist what tools, resources and services would best support their career aspirations. After 3 months of interviews, we compiled responses from those across all locations, career levels and job families. It became abundantly clear from the data that our people wanted one thing above all others - mentorship.
